Crown Cars Dealer "The Better Way"
We were hired by Moore and Scarry Advertising firm out of Fort Myers Florida to videotape their Crown Dealer client. The name of this campaign is “A Better Way." Instead of the typical car commercials with a price caption on it, this project is more of a laid back signature commercial branding this group of dealers.
We travelled down to St. Petersburg and Fort Myer Florida to film this commercial and also in Dublin, Ohio.
The rain scene with the couple and umbrella was actually an overcast day. We had to create rain using garden hose. We also added more rain and even clouds to the sky with After Effects to give it more of a dramatic appearance. All in all, we had a blast filming this commercial!

Our New Toy

Ohio Dental Site
A while back Dr Jerry Urell and Dr. Matt Paulson of Ohio Dental Group requested New Vision Media to give a new look to their old site. The goal was to design a site that is simple, easy and user friendly. After a couple meetings and few weeks later, the site is finally up and running. Click here to go to the site.

New Camera-Sony XDCAM EX1
After almost 6 years of using DVCPRO, we finally have a new camera. This camera is the new Sony XDCAM EX1. The EX1 is an HD camera. Like the Panasonic P2, the EX1 uses memory sticks as opposed to tape. The PMW-EX1 camcorder offers a choice of bit rates - either 35 Mb/s (HQ mode) or 25 Mb/s (SP mode) - depending on the desired picture quality and recording time. The HQ mode supports both 1920 x 1080 and 1280 x 720 resolutions. The SP mode supports 1440 x 1080 resolution at 25 Mb/s, which provides compatibility with HDV 1080i products. This is a huge step for us. We now offer full HD production service.

Columbus Police Recruiting Video Open
We have been so fortunate to work with the Columbus Police Department. We were asked to produce a 10 minute recruiting video for minorities. Most recruiting videos show a lot of police chases in cars and on foot, sometimes with the help of K-9 units. The CPD wants to show a different view, with a softer tone.
